Interior renovations to this Lake Lorraine home were major, encompassing nearly the entire main level. All existing cabinetry, appliances, and dividing walls were removed, opening up the kitchen to the family room area, and extensive wiring and plumbing modifications were made to satisfy the new design. Custom maple cabinetry with granite/laminate counter tops, state of the art appliances, ceramic tile flooring and high tech lighting, are just a few dynamic features of the new kitchen. The formal dining room was transformed into a multi-functional home office space, with custom maple cabinetry, recessed lighting, and hardwood flooring. Renovations to the powder room rounded out this showcase remodeling project which placed first in HBA 2002 Remodelors of Distinction Award.
