The Power’s decision to have Fulford Home Remodeling create this “showcase” kitchen was two fold: The need to update the existing cabinetry, and the need for a larger kitchen. The rear support wall of the existing kitchen was removed, with a girder system installed for roof support. A 320 sq. ft. addition was constructed, allowing Fulford to incorporate the new and existing space into one spacious kitchen area. A combination of white and maple cabinetry was used to create this deluxe kitchen layout, complete with center custom island, pantry cabinets, color matched appliances, ceramic tile flooring and high-tech lighting. A craft room was also incorporated into the addition, making this a kitchen that is extremely functional, with plenty of space for entertaining. It’s little wonder that this project won first place in the HBA 2003 Remodelors of Distinction Awards.
