| SUNROOM ADDITION FOR THE KAHLEY’S
The
Kahley’s decision to have Fulford Home Remodeling design
and create this cozy sunroom addition and outdoor patio area had
one stipulation: Make it fit the home without that “added-on”
look.
Mission accomplished! The rear breakfast room
windows were removed and a wood cased opening
was created to provide access to the 168 sq. ft. addition. Exterior
features included brick veneer, cedar siding, and shingles that
all matched the existing home. Simonton double hung windows with
trapezoids and low E glass, hand framed cathedral ceiling, plastered
walls and ceiling, and ceramic tile flooring all were a perfect
compliment to this home.
The lower patio area below the existing deck
was also completely redone, with brick retaining walls and new
concrete patio with drain system. It’s no surprise this
project won the Judge’s Choice Award and placed first in
HBA 2003 Remodelors of Distinction Awards.
