John Snapat, Sales Consultant of Spencer Remodeling


John Snapat is a Sales Consultant for Spencer Remodeling, and has been with the company since its inception in 1987. John has made a large impact in the remodeling community by achieving several recognitions which includes the following:

Certified Graduate Remodeler (est. 1999)

The CGR designation indicates that a remodeler has completed the requirements of the CGR professional designation program, including educational credits, prescribed business standards and remodeling experience.


Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (est. 2004)

The Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) designation program teaches the technical, business management, and customer service skills essential to competing in the fastest growing segment of the residential remodeling industry: home modifications for the aging-in-place. The NAHB Remodelers Council, in collaboration with the AARP, NAHB Research Center, and NAHB Seniors Housing Council, developed this program to provide comprehensive, practical, market-specific information about working with older and maturing adults to remodel their homes for aging-in-place.


Remodeler Council Chair (est.1999)

Participation in the NAHB Remodelers Council of Greater Southwest Illinois demonstrates a remodeler's commitment to professionalism and the remodeling industry. Members agree to a Code of Ethics. They must remain in good standing with the association.
